BayFOR Training: “European funding: how to write high-quality proposals” - 19-20 Mai 2020, Bucuresti

• Wallachia Hub is a consortium of clusters and innovation ecosystems from Bucharest-Ilfov and Muntenia regions comprising several companies, universities and research institutes aiming to improve innovation capacity of the Romanian business leaders. It serves more than 300 companies in various fields in manufacturing, engineering, agriculture, IT&C, creative industries, green energies and others.

• One common issue of these companies in order to be more competitive is the management of innovation. To improve innovation capacity, managers have to upgrade their skills and knowledge for writing project proposals for European programmes. 

• BayFOR, as the EU-Funding centre in Bavaria, can offer a dedicated training  to cover these needs: H2020 general overview, adequate instruments, participation conditions, proposal writing, dedicated instruments for SMEs and collaborative projects.

• Thematic background of the attendees: environmental protection and conservation, water management, organic  agriculture, green energy, industry 4.0, manufacturing industries, IT&C.

• Participants must be highly motivated, interested in international cooperation, experienced in regional and/or European funding, able to speak English and willing to actively participate in the    training.

Agustina Gualdoni, Scientific Officer, Unit Environment, Energy & Bioeconomy at the Bavarian Research Alliance. She supports and advises scientists from Bavarian universities as well as stakeholders from the private sector (mainly SMEs) on European research, development and innovation funds.
She has an academic background in International Business and Economics with a major in Environmental Management.
Prior to her position at BayFOR, Agustina has gained experience as a Project Manager at a Consultancy, where she managed international market research projects focusing on market entry and business development strategies. She further worked at the Center of Digitalization.Bavaria, where she oversaw internal project management processes.

Kevin Wilke, Scientific Officer, Unit SME Advisory Services at the Bavarian Research Alliance. He supports and advises SMEs on European research, development and innovation funds. He is also member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), Europe's largest advisory network for SMEs. It provides SMEs with support in connection with relevant EU-related topics such as EU funding options, international partnerships, EU certification and single market regulations.
He has a double Bachelor’s degree for European Business and a Master’s degree in European Economics.
Prior to his position at BayFOR, Kevin worked for a development bank as project manager, a consultancy in the field of finance, a research organisation and a large automotive company in the field of finance and quality management.

Participation fee

Day 1 and Day 2, May 19-20, 2020 at the fee of 1200 RON, working lunches  included

Please indicate in the Application Form if you want to meet up with the experts at bilateral meetings and if YES, with which expert. You should also mention if you want to participate in one workshop or both (complete the Application Form).

In case of the cancellation of the event you will be anounced and get the refund.
